Word processing. As simple as it may seem like typing words into a document, word processing is software that has already gone a long way in terms of improvement.

Games. Games are usually graphic intensive nowadays. Therefore, games are one of the hardest software to develop. Aside from the technology needed to create smooth graphics, creativity is also a major factor to developing quality game.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software. Autocad has really made a big name for itself. Autocad uses 2 dimension drawings to express the different sides of a particular object. But at the coming of the millennium, 3 dimension or 3D drawing has started to be the trend. You can actually create the 3D images already.
